Shot list

My opening shot I am going to use in a medium close up. This will be used when I am talking into the camera on my own about my OCD. I am using this shot because the focus is just on me and introducing myself and my story and this shot allows the audience to focus on me as the main character and nothing else around it as it doesn't show the other things surrounding the main character and by having a medium close up it is more personal.

The shots I am going to use when talking to the psychologist and the other girl suffering with OCD is wide shots and mid shots. I am going to switch between these two because I want to show the surroundings on the two people I am going to interview as this is important to show the office of the psychologist to make the feeling of the documentary better and the surroundings of the girl as being in a very normal setting so it shows the audience she is a normal everyday girl. The mid shot is also important because the camera needs to focus on the person being interviewed but without being to close and impersonal.

I also want to use extreme wide shots, this will be used to show the environments that are surrounding me as I go on my journey to find out more things about my OCD. These will be used when filming big buildings around London or filming the trains going past as I make my way to the psychologists building or just filming different scenes that illustrate going on a journey somewhere.

The other two shots I'm going to use is over the shoulder shots. This will be used when I'm interviewing the people to show that they are speaking to me about my OCD and then explaining OCD in general. Im also going to use noddy shots which will show me listening and reacting to the girl and psychologist.
